1 Pitis - Zarb Fi Bilad Palembang, Unpunched Hole?

A while back, I obtained one hundred or so tin pitis from the sultanate of Palembang. While sorting, I noticed one without a punched hole, yet with the circular marker indicating a hole was supposed to be punched. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the coin and will not be able to upload an image once I find it. Is this coin rare?

There are a large number of Palembang types (see http://www.fsrcoin.com/palembang.html ) but they have been found in large numbers. I expect many of the types are rare, but I don't expect them to have high value as I don't think many people are trying to get every minor variation.

Your coin is a little more unusual. I've seen hundreds of coins from Palembang and haven't seen anything like it, and I don't see any images or text in the Palembang reference that would indicate that Frank Robinson was aware of that type of error (and he looked at about 35 000 pieces). So I would definitely call your coin rare.

Hello

These kind of coins were cast …

Interesting to have a picture
