Hi Variety Identification Forum
Has anyone seen a 1916i Half Penny copper coin with a dot above the letter A on the reverse? Is it worth anything as a variety coin?

Please listen to Mr. Numista Robot. There are 5 A's on the reverse, none of which have a dot above them.

Hi All
It is not the normal half penny mule with the pimple on the inner concentric circle. Here is a picture, look at and above the letter A in the word Half Penny. Cheers ACoinEther

Agree. Not a variety.

Hi
Thanks, but it seems like a distinct round dot mint mark, not a cud.
Could you please clarify? Cheers ACoinEther

Nothing to clarify, just a minting error called a cud.

Minting error - I agree with Sjoelund - Nothing to clarify, just a minting error called a cud.
I haven't seen one like this before but nothing special as far as I am concerned.
