Overall, I am very pleased and grateful for the work done by the team to improve Numista. However, I must admit that I am not entirely satisfied with this new feature. Fundamentally, I think it's great, but I dislike how it has been implemented.
Placing them at the bottom of the page, the occasional cutting of images as shown by @rsirian1 , and the inability to translate possible comments make this section, in my opinion, useless.
In my view, it would have been much better to add it through clickable links on the dateline, similar to how it is done for prices in the US catalog (and also with the small camera icon for quick viewing without opening the page). For example, for this coin: N#19856, there is a dedicated page for each dateline.
As mentioned by Stratocaster, I believe that on each dateline page, we could include photos and more specific details, such as different descriptions, inscriptions, and catalog numbers. Then, a list similar to the one on this page could be compiled automatically: N#48483.
Imagine for coins with numerous variations; it would be a mess to reference them all in the example section. With this solution, each line could show small variants, allowing users to see different mint marks, countermarks, and various states of conservation in a much more organized manner.
