Maybe similar to what I wrote yesterday in that thread; a piece of cardboard twice as large as an envelope, then fold it and tape it closed, so it makes a rigid holder for what is inside. Not being a banknote collector I have no experience, but that is what I would do. Alternate; put in a padded bag instead of envelope - though they cost a bit more.

I have only made one banknote swap but in my opinion you do not have to go to quite the same lengths as you do with coins. When I traded I used an A5 sized envelope and laid the banknotes down in layers (say 4 or 5 to a layer), separated by leaves of plain paper with another leaf on top and underneath. I then sandwiched the whole lot in between two layers of stiff card (not quite as thick as I would use for coins) and placed the taped bundle into the envelope. The key is you want to try and keep the package light to reduce the postage but you still need to avoid having the envelope bent about in transit.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

that is good advice,i thinking for something similar,i think problem is very old banknotes,100 years and more, and they look very breakable, but in this way of packaging no need of care.
thanks mate
