We currently list Isle of Man 5 pence KM# 1255 and 10 pence KM# 1256 as single types with no sub-types. However, the World Coin Gallery (
http://worldcoingallery.com/countries/Isleman.php ) lists the 2013- dates as "magnetic", implying that these coins have the same composition as the UK 5 and 10 pence coins produced since 2011, i.e., nickel plated steel. I don't have any of the 5 pence pieces in my collection but I do have a 2014 10 pence which is certainly magnetic. Can anyone confirm what World Coin Gallery lists? If so, we can add the magnetic types to our catalogue and then wait for KM to catch up and provide a new number.

I'm entering into a swap involving a magnetic Manx 10p from 2015 and it reminded me that this issue still hasn't been resolved. Has the new IOM catalogue appeared yet?

It wasnt helpful. It states that the coins of 5 and 10 pence were copper nickel until the the 2017 coins issued by the Tower Mint. But if you have magnetic issues, then that is interesting.

Specifically, I have a 2014 BB and a 2015 AB, both magnetic. I can supply images of them stuck to a magnet if that would help.
