This thread will be a great place to record everything to do with banknotes of Afghanistan.

This 20 afghanis of SH 1340 was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited. Predominately blue. Mohammed Zahir Shah is depicted in military dress on the face of this note, and as the watermark to the right.

A monument is centered on the back.

The above note is Pick 38.

Four small denomination notes from 2002 - 1, 2 , 5 & 10 afghanis
The 1,2 & 5 all have the same design on the reverse, the 10 has a security strip.
