Hi Hello People of the world.....
I am Sayan Biswas from India and This is my first post on numista.......
I am a coin collector from a long time and I am now 14 years old only :)
So I need help from advisors and good people to make my collection more better.
I want to verify that whether this coin (Morgan Dollar 1921 weight:- 24g) is real or just an imitation......
If you can help me it will be a great thing for me Hope people see this post

If the weight is accurate, then there's no doubt. Otherwise, one needs ideally to see the coin, or else rely on high quality photos to determine whether a coin is real or fake. Normally, we like to have an accumulation of features to determine whether a coin or any other object, is fake.
This one seems to have a die crack on the reverse, towards the tip of the wing. If so, this would probably be a significant feature. If you could post much better pictures, with the best lighting as possible, that would help.
By the way, does Numista have a page about taking coin pictures? That would be very helpful ─ or at least links to such pages.
Cita: "Sayan"It is almost like the image you showed me but still i dont have any idea whether it is real or a chinese fake coin Pls help me"
Where do you find it? In an open market area or grandfather gave to you or you bought from a trustful dealer?
Coins like yours picture i find with kilos in the Athens and stay away.Morgan dollars are the most common fakes coins worldwide.
Any way, Fake or Original it is nice to have it in your collection as new and young collector as you are
What did you learn about the weight of the real Morgan Dollar from the previous replies? Now put yours on the scale and you'll most probably get your answer right away.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
Cita: "Sayan" My fate is bad..... I bought this coin for 1000 INR or 15$..... that person is a shit shit shit shit shit shit shit who sold me the fake coin :(......
When buying a coin that is forged so often, you must be very careful from whom you buy. I limit who I buy from to avoid this. It sucks when that happens though
