Good Evening

Mine arrived today. Paind about R225 for it. Are these solid or plated silver? Is solid what will the grade be?
Jannie
Jan, if you cut the coin in two pieces, you will know if it is plated :D

I have nerver seen one plated, but they may exist.

Hehe...I just can't believe how nice and sturdy the coin is. Will test a little spot on the edge for purity. Will post my findings

These temple coin are not very rare. But I do not know if they are really minted in the date on the coin.

This one were apparently minted in 1914 according to Numista listing.
Just tested it. Definitely not plated, must be around 0.800 silver.
