Hello Friends,

First of all I want to say that it's not my intention to sell my collection here. I have read the forum policy and I have clear all the rules. This message has the purpose of getting some guidance from you of how can I sell the entire collection. I've registered this membership about a year ago to get some guidance in the subject , because I had no idea, and it led me also arrange the collection properly.  I inherited this from my father and have no idea what to do. Do you know some links to webs from collectors around the world that would be interested?.

Thank you.
To get the most money, you could sell them on eBay by country.  You could even separate the silver and sell them individually.

...dang you've got a lot of nice coins.  Too bad I know I can't afford it  :~

I agree, looking at your collection, since you have big collections from each country I'd split it up into countries to sell off on E-Bay, you're likely to get better prices that way.

Hello!
Thank you for the advice!I will try to sell them separately then by country. Once I tried to sell through Ebay and they didn't let me sell an item for more than $500 if I didn't have a record of selling before. Do you know if they still keep that policy?.
Thank you for the advice!

Hello I have other concerns,
I've been doing research of some prices but it can take a lot of time for me to do this with each coin. Is there any method or catalog that makes the process easier? Or are there people who offer that service?  would it be expensive?
You could take it to a coin shop and have them give you an appraisal.  If it's good enough, you can just sell it to them, but chances are they will only offer you around 50%-75% of what it's value should be.
If you act like you want to sell, they probably won't charge you.  If you tell them you are looking for an insurance estimate/just for your knowledge, they might charge.

It's a slow road, but ngccoin.com has a good price guide.  But with multiple types, it takes a long, long time.

Thank you for being helpful!
