Swap Not honored

Dear Numista members and admin

I have been yet again spammed. This time from USA for a change. The member is "----".

it seems he has good track record, but for some reason, he did not honor my swap after agreeing to swap and I sent my coins already. He has not responded so far. Not very sure if he has any other problems. But I request admin to put a warning so that people are careful. If he later responds to me and sends me the coins agreed, I shall request admin to remove the alarm warning.

thanks.

How is it that you have all these problems? Bad luck? Maybe you're the only one posting them publicly. Either way, there seem to be a lot of them for just one guy, I'm starting to feel bad for you.
I take a bit of risk swapping with people who are new in a way to encourage them to start off swapping, and also risk swapping with many who are already there, but no-one proposed to swap to them may be. So some of these risks are beginning to bite back I think. Well it is part of the risk taken I assume and move on.

If you're going to take the risk of swapping with absolute newbies without insisting that they send first then you're going to have to expect to get ripped off.
I would say even a member with less than 5 swaps I would require they sent them first because some members in the past have made a few good small swaps then started ripping people off.
I got scammed by a Spanish numista member with 53 good ratings including one from me before. This great guy claimed that his post office changed the coins and wrapped some  junk coins  and sent the letter untampered to me( He says its happened thrice with his letters before!!! Boy, If I knew this was happening  ,I would change the post office. for mailing letters ...).

Do you believe this? I lost $120 worth of coins....
Admin removed my earlier thread on this subject so I am not naming the member. However I would like to point out that I know at least 4 numista members with 50+ good ratings  who selectively cheat people.
(PM me for names)
Admin does not set warning on people with many good ratings but 1-2 zero ratings . However I think this has to change. Otherwise the rating system will get abused. I think even one case of cheating without a logical explanation deserves a warning ...  I  managed to scare the Canadian cheat swapose ( who ripped of many people) into returning my coins after I threatened police action. But this Spanish cheat is not even apologetic and refers to his earlier good rating as an excuse and does not give a logical explanation. He is not even scared of police action... I faxed a police complaint to his local police station...but he was not bothered...
Outside  of numista- in various good trader sites, even one complaint leads to a person being placed on a suspected traders list....I think if admin does not become more responsive I will have to stop swapping here.

Admin can play a vital role in warning  even onetime cheats to cough up their dues... however ....!!!

Really, I'm glad you're here to decipher...  :D  (8  Is that the normal placement for our responses? I'll have to work on mine. Every post can be a mystery. :8D
