Hi there I'm just trying to catalogue some of my coins and I don't know what these two are!
The first was mixed in with a a few coins I have recently purchased and the second was found metal detecting. Any help identifying them would be great! Many thanks
The other one is a contemporary counterfeit shilling. Quite a common counterfeit, it used to be silver coated but that often went off after circulating around.

If it's a metal detecting find perhaps it's just dirty? check if it's silver. I've had one of the bronze counterfeits before, I actually sold it for more than a proper shilling sells for, the forgeries are quite popular.
Thank you both for your excellent comments! It certainly doesn't look silver and it does have a bronze tint to it so it may just well be a counterfeit as you suggested! It's not in the best of shape but is it worth keeping or will it have some value to it?
Like I said, I bought one of the bronze forgeries thinking it was a real coin. I purchased it for $8, I sold it off again when I found it wasn't real, I listed it as a contemporary forgery and sold it for $10. There certainly is some value in the contemporary fakes. They seem to be quite a popular area to collect. I also made some good money selling some forged Indian rupees that somebody had offloaded on me.
