Irish. The first picture has a harp on it.

Can not tell which denomination without diameter.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

It is hard to identify this coin. I can see the harp with a crown on it but unable to identify the front. I cannot find someone with a long face looking to the left.

 Five examples - with diameters

N#40801  [22.0mm]

N#333188  [22.7mm]

N#16086  [27.0mm]

N#19983  [27.5mm]

N#19984  [28.0mm]

Thank for your help ZacUK. I have identified it as a 1737 1 Farthing - George II Type I. I appreciate the help.

And how did you identify it? Based on the diameters? Your coin is so worn and rounded on the edges, dangerous to let your decision pend on the diameter. Especially since the diameter of the first farthing might be a rounded number and can also be 22.7 mm in stead of 22 mm.

I believe it's the second farthing from 1744 (N#333188):

You can clearly see the 17 and I also think you can see the the first 4 and then it can't be the 1737 farthing.

Now that you mention it, it does look more like 1744. The diameter of the coin is 27.5mm.

It is strange that I am finding coins from Ireland. I live in Maryland in the United States.
