Are there any scanners for coins of various sizes that won't break my bank?

Wow thay are cheap! I've never scanned anything before, do scanners save digital copies of the scans of banknotes that have printer-proof security features?

Personally I would use scanners only for banknotes (and there you will run into the EURion problem on more modern notes unless you know how to circumvent that), metals usually look dull and kinda dead due to the way the images are generated even if the item is in pristine condition.
Even a midrange smartphone's camera with decent lighting setup yield nicer images in my opinion. If you have a system it also is not much slower to take multiple single object pictures vs a scanner bed full of coins.
