This is a 50 Céntimos note from the Spanish Civil War. I recently purchased it because it looked different to me than other notes of this type. Compared to the image on the Numista page (N#229470) and this high resolution example of Series A, the dark colors are missing, the serial number style is different (N° before SN and no commas on my example) and the details are mushy.
However I can't find any information about contemporary counterfeits online. Is anyone familiar with contemporary counterfeit notes of this period?
