Series dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, recognised as the greatest football club of the 20th century by the International Association Football Federation (FIFA) in 2000. Real Madrid Club de Fútbol is a Spanish professional association football club, founded in 1902 in Madrid.
The series consists of twelve medals silver plated, issued by Real Madrid Club de Fútbol and minted by the Royal Dutch Mint in 2002. The obverses depict a subject related to the association football club, and the reverses depict its emblem and cups won.
The series is presented in a wooden display box with glass lid, accompanied by a booklet for each medal, and a certificate of authenticity.
