How are you so sure that it's an error on Numista and a Sudanese Bank's decision? It might actually still be a legal tender!

You are the one who is questioning it and the one you are questioning is set to unknown.
It is quite a bit younger and larger notes get withdrawn way more often (unless in high inflation countries) so it could well be still valid.

Central Bank of Sudan only list the Sudanese Pound banknotes as valid currencies.

From the site: During the year 2007, the Sudanese pound and the Sudanese dinar will be circulating side by side. The Sudanese dinar will be gradually withdrawn through the banking sector during a specified period after the end of which the Sudanese dinar will be declared as an illegal tender.

It is quite often that a government of the day would withdraw a high value banknote for whatever reasons they see fit, be it against money laundering, hogging etc.

In 1997 following the Asian Financial crises, Malaysia withdrew the banknotes of 500 and 1000 ringgit and declared them as worthless. I believe this was to control massive capital flight and money laundering. Today, if you have them in UNC condition, it is worth more than gold in weight.

India recently withdrew the note of 2000 rupees due to illegal activities, corruption and counterfeit. Only 4 varieties are issued and you can still buy them in UNC condition.

The Sudanese government must have the same reason(s) to make this 10000 pounds worthless. 

No like rsirian1 already said they switched to a whole other currency a few years later and did not just cut a few zeros like the did in the series before and one after where these two belong to … if I read it right.
