Royal Mint NGC graded coin, where to check serial number?

I have a few UK coins in slabs, some I can check on the NGC site, they come back as they should. One coin I have I believe was graded by NGC on behalf of the Royal Mint, but the number isn't recognised by NGC, does anyone know if their is a specific register for coins submitted to NGC by RM?

Greetings, trickyd.  NGC has a free mobile app that you can use to scan the barcode on the NGC slab.  The NGC mobile app uses the camera on your phone to read the barcode and display the information about the coin.  If you still can not resolve the certification number, I would recommend contacting NGC and following up with them.  Here's their UK contact page:  https://www.ngccoin.uk/contact

Edit:  here's more information on the NGC Mobile App.  It's downloadable from both the Apple Store & Google Play:  https://www.ngccoin.com/resources/ngc-app

Thanks for that TonyCoins, I'll try that when I can get at the coin. NGC website says I can scan QR codes from slabs, but this doesn't have QR code. It's graded as GEM proof, and on their site there is no GEM proof grade to select, which is why I thought Royal Mint may have a register, as the coin is in Royal Mint packaging and has the original RM certificates. I'm now going to download the app.

Downloaded the app, dug out the coin and scanned the barcode, and BINGO- comes back as described.

Oh, if it's still in the original packaging and not in a slab then I doubt that it's been certified by NGC.   The term “Gem Proof” simply means that it would grade at a numerical grade of 65 or higher on the Sheldon Scale.

I meant that the slab is in a Royal Mint branded case for a slab, along with the original certificate from RM, but not the original case which would have had a round capsule. I read that RM were getting coins grades by NGC for them to sell at a price containing a “small” profit, but going on your advice with the app, I am now sorted, so thanks again.
