Hello, I'm here again because I look after the coins for Oxfam in Exeter. We've had this coin donated.  The date appears to be 1863. In the catalogue it shows low mintage and the only price it gives is £2700 for a UNC one.

This one is not in a very good state, but I'm at a loss as to how much to price it. I've done a general web search and haven't found any useful information.

Here are the images:

Thanks as ever fror all your help - nbot sure what I'd do without you all :-)

This looks like 1868 to me: N#1172. The 1863 1 Franc has a very different design: N#1171, there is no imperial coat-of-arms on the reverse and there isn't a laurel wreath on the head of Napoleon.
The 1868 A is the most common issue, so it's not partucularly rare or expensive. If you search on ebay for recent sales, they go for about 5-7 £ in this condition.

thank you for your prompt reply. I will price it accordingly. 😀
