Cuba 1000 pesos 2025 commemorative

Can someone please help me out on this?

1000 Pesos (65th anniversary of Cuba's banking nationalization) - Cuba – Numista

It says that this note is worth (FV) US$39. XE is $41+/-. Obviously this is the official exchange rate.

My question is that most of the sales for this note is around $40-$50 each. On one Facebook, someone is offering 25 euro each. So, what is the actual value of Cuban's pesos currency outside the country?

I guess outside Cuba it has no nominal value, and inside it seems like less and less.

Maybe not an official account, but this page gives a kind of value on the informal market … sounds like only a few USD … surely less than $39!

It is sad to see a country going through with such an economic condition. My daughter visited Cuba some years ago (before Covid) and she said it was a beautiful country.

a country that has multiple exchange rates depending on who is exchanging. The 24 CUP = $1 has been a fantasy for years now… the consumer black market exchange rate has been around 350-480 and currently 480. Even the government exchange houses which until recently gave 110 CUP for your dollar now give 450 Because no one used the exchange booths.

I should also add that this was extremely small print run and it never made it to the street… it went from banks straight to the guys who are effectively the dealers/wholesalers in Cuba 

Well, I bought one a few weeks ago, and I checked the website from the guy I bought this note from and noticed that the price is coming down. 🤕

I got mine from England. A few dealers are selling them now.
