I have a selection of uncirculated coins that were purchased directly from the Royal Belgian Mint by a UK-based metal refinery.

I'd love to hear how much you think they are worth?

Coin 1: Belgian 50 Franc 1998

Coin 2: Belgian 50 Franc 1998

Coin 3: Belgian 50 Franc 1999

Coin 4: Belgian 50 Franc 1998

Coin 5: Belgian 50 Franc 1998

Coin 7: Belgian 1 Franc 1989

Coin 8: Belgian 1 Franc 1990

Coin 9: Belgian 10 Franc 1972

Coin 10: Belgian 50 Franc 2000

Coin 11: Belgian 50 Franc 1992

Well according to an inflation calculator 25% more than when you asked the first time in 2018, but I see you didn’t get an answer, other than „minting errors from Belgium mint are quite common“. The truth is that they are worth what ever you can sell them for, I could see the lot going on an established eBay coin seller for maybe €10-€20 at the very best, maybe less. If you set up an eBay account today and sold them maybe €3, mint errors are a bit of a specialty and depends a lot on the age and overall beauty of the coin to add a premium, and these Belgium coins just simply are not that nice, collectible or worth much.

A further factor is they may not be mint errors, certainly some are not the types of errors that I know, but I am no expert on errors, and whatever caused these changes, error or not, doesn’t add to the coin in any way. IMO, not compared to a nice die crack or an off strick say on a large copper coin.
