RAF COINS

Does anyone have any of the RAF Modern Fighter coins tokens/medals for swap …also I have a few are they listed in the Numista catalogue?

I usually collect crown

size coins , but these crown tokens/ medals  caught my eye.., I have a couple looking to get a few more.

ebay but pricey 

oh yeah, looks like the stuff from the RAF Association, usually bronze with silver or gold coating.

I don’t think there are any entered into the catalogue, they should be under exonumia (medals) I would assume, but there are none that look the same. Unfortunately eBay is probably your best bet unless you go direct to the RAF Association.

Thanks for your reply …you are correct they are either silver or gold. Some collectors are a bit snooty about exonumia but as I like coins with aeroplanes on them, I m always tempted by them .

I’m always puzzled by my choice of coins to collect …I like crown coins mainly from Uk dependencies. As Numista seem to hardly show any collectors of these coins and never for swapping. You would be drawn to   the conclusion that hardly anyone collects them .

However , the price of them on eBay and bidders would indicate the opposite, so where are they on this site …as I say puzzled
