Old jewelry and tool - What is this?

Hello everyone, I have these old items and I'm trying to identify them. To me, the first one looks like some kind of hook or a construction tool, and the second object is probably jewelry. I think they are made of bronze.

I would love to know what time period they are from. Maybe Turkey, Ottoman Empire? The flower-like symbol looks like it could be an amulet. It resembles a flower or a sun. I saw a picture online of something similar that belonged to the Tatars, a piece of jewelry. I don't think it's a belt buckle.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!"

The one on the left looks like a sort of pull-handle to me. I.e. it was suspended from a string which could be pulled to activate / operate some sort of device. Would also explain the greater wear around the lower fat part where a hand would grip more of.

The other looks kind of like a jug lid to me, with the connector loop at the top & the slightly pointed bit directly opposite where the spout would be.

Total guesses on both counts, but just what I saw. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Maybe helps, maybe total rubbish. 😅

Age & location anyone's guess.
