Why was this issued as shown in photograph (Bahamas $1 P#50a)

I have recently discovered this very interesting banknote (s) which came in a display case, of two Bahamas $1 banknotes but have not been cut

They have two different banknote numbers but not consecutive as I would call it. (F262212 & F272212)

Does anyone have an explanation for it please.

This is how the serial numbers are printed on a full sheet. I am not an expert on this but you will not find the s/n printed in sequential order. The two notes are shown with s/n #  F262212 & F272212. The one on top of  F262212 would have the s/n # F252212 and the one below F272212 would be F2862212.

This is my Fiji two-uncut sheet

And those notes printed to the left or rights are not sequential either. This is my another Fiji uncut sheet with the serial numbers from left to right:

FFZ0105015; FFZ20107515; FFZ20110015 etc

Wow the Fijian pair looks amazing too.

I wonder how many other countries did a similar thing

I think the question is which printers or the machine manufacturers that do that, and I believe most of them are.

Can you actually buy the $2 banknotes in sheets like that? Must be expensive
