Hello!
I found this German 1 euro coin from 2002 in circulation and noticed an unusual raised bump or extra metal formation on the eagle’s claw (right side). It doesn't look like regular wear or damage – more like a possible die chip or minting defect.
Year: 2002
Country: Germany
Denomination: 1 Euro
Condition: Circulated, VF
Observed anomaly: Raised area on claw, looks like extra metal
Has anyone seen this before? Could this be considered a mint error? Any idea on estimated value?
Thanks in advance!
