Hallo zusammen,
ich habe heute eine 2-Euro-Münze aus den Niederlanden gefunden, Prägejahr 2001, mit dem Porträt von Königin Beatrix. Beim genaueren Hinsehen ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Rand vollständig glatt ist – also keine Randschrift und keine Riffelung, wie sie bei dieser Münze eigentlich üblich wären (normalerweise: „GOD ZIJ MET ONS“).
Die Münze wirkt ansonsten original und ist in gutem Zustand. Da ich weiß, dass solche Abweichungen eventuell auf eine Fehlprägung hindeuten können, würde ich mich sehr über eure Einschätzung freuen.
Ich habe Fotos von Vorderseite, Rückseite und Rand gemacht (siehe Anhang).
Meine Fragen:
Könnte es sich um eine bekannte oder seltene Fehlprägung handeln?
Hat jemand eine grobe Einschätzung des Sammlerwerts?
Ist so eine Variante bereits dokumentiert?

I recently found a 2 Euro coin from the Netherlands, dated 2001, featuring Queen Beatrix. I noticed that the edge is completely smooth — there is no edge lettering or reeding at all.
As far as I know, this coin should normally have the inscription “GOD ZIJ MET ONS” on the edge, alternating with smooth segments. The coin otherwise appears to be genuine and is in good condition.
I’m wondering whether this could be a mint error, and I’d greatly appreciate your insights.
I’ve attached clear photos of the obverse, reverse, and edge.
My questions:
Could this be a known or rare minting error?
Can anyone give a rough estimate of its potential collector value?
Has this type of variant been documented before?
