My grandfather worked with currency during the occupation, and came back with a stack of notes including this one:
Odd features:
- It seems to match the 1930 Yen note entry, but it's not perforated and it doesn't have a serial.
- It also has the characters in the arc at the top printed in red, and they don't match the usual characters.
- The text to the left of Sugawara Michizane is absent
Not sure what to make of this, but I'd be grateful for any insights. 🙏
