Hello All,

This is an Austro-Hungarian banknote that I have had for a long time and couldn't have found anything related to what sets this apart from all the rest of them. It is a regular paper with 125 mm in length and 82 mm in width.

The reason why this makes this different is the overprint near the bottom on the reverse which states:

“Kære Ven” “27, Vestergade 27”

I have tried looking for any indication for if there is reasoning behind it but there seems to be no research behind it.

Hope this helps!

‘Dear Friend’ in Danish and a Danish street name. Some private graffito.

Huh, so it should just be chalked up to a private touristy motto printed? It would make sense given the fact that so many were printed and the country would have been dissolved before this was added on.
