Don't know if you've noticed, but the Danmarks nationalbank made an announcement yesterday that Danish circulation coins will be manufactured by the Royal mint of Spain (FNMT) fo the next four years. At the same time, it confirmed that the first such coins (and the first standard circulation coins bearing the portrait of the new king) will enter circulation in “late 2025.”
Even though this measure will probably not change anything important about Danish coins, it is quite interesting that the FNMT will manufacture all circulating denominations for another European state (I believe that it only did so for Andorra). Anyway, I'm really curious how these new coins will turn out, together with the new banknotes planned in 2028–2029.
