Новгородский денежный двор при Владиславе работал короткое время. В октябре 1610 года новгородцев привели к присяге Владиславу, а в январе 1611 года Новгород восстал и установил самоуправление.

Dude was accepted as ruler by Novgorod for three months. That is not Commonwealth coin.

This is a Moscow Mint kopeck on the picture, not Novgorod

So these are two different types then?

So these are two different types then?

Russian page references

KG# 300, GKH# 323, GKH2# 346, Kop# 10550

Commonwealth page reference

Kop# 10550

Even if image is Moscow when title says Novgorod, Numista has pages for Moscow types too

N#111715

N#205447

My Russian reference books start from Peter I and http://www.a-saida.jp/spravki/silver-copeck/ page for Władysław IV Vasa is missing details. I can't tell what is the difference between Moscow and Novgorod. Probably letters are missing below St.George.

This is a wrong identification on Polish page.

The same coin in Russian catalogue is here: N#111715

I've added a picture from the Polish page as an example of this type.

Possibly it is better to find a technical solution how to add a second issuer to one page or to allow duplicates for different issuers

ЦАРЬ И КНЯЗЬ ВСЕЯ РУСИ

Just cause country has same ruler does not make it entitled to claim ownership of other countries coins. Coin does not have anything referring to Commonwealth. You have policies about not creating dupes in catalogue. Why it is not enforced?

I agree these coins should be combined under Russia.

As tokul said, struck in Russia for circulation in Russia … Ruling authority happens to be a member of the House of Vasa who later becomes King of Poland.

On the mint, the WCN archive shows only 1 out of 100 sales of this type from Novogord mint, so I think we can assume most members having  #257531 have the Moscow mint coin (Kop. 10544) which as mentioned upthread is the photo in the listing.  So I think we should combine #257531  (move the collections) and the Moscow mint listing in Russia, #111715.

Edit:  Now complete.  Commonwealyh type #257531 merged to Russia type #111715
