That was also my first impression when i got it. But how can i turn looks like fake into knowing what it truely is (fake - real) ? Only what i know for certain is that its metal as i found it in the middle of nowhere having my metal detector with me.

It's obvious to me that this was not made in 1909; thus, I would call it a fake.
