"Replica" check box in collection

Hello,

I think it would be cool to have a little check box when adding coins like “replica”.

here are my 2 reasons.

People adding fake coins in their collection and having a comment works, but messes up the statistics of coins, like the Date percentage or the NRI. 

that doesn't seem bad until it comes to rare coins or coins that get faked a lot. Like Thalers f.e.

Its also a bit frustrating when only one person has the coin for swap and its a replica, cause the coin still shows up if you look through coins that someone has for swap.

2nd reason.

It also kinda messes up your own statistics. especially with the precious metal ones. 

if you search in someone's swap list for “coins that i dont own” they obviously dont show up in the swap list as well. 

So my Idea would be to add this little checkbox to mark a coin as “replica” here.

The coin then becomes kind of a "shadow coin", not showing up in any statistics unless specified. It could maybe even get a little icon in swap lists, like a red dot f.e.

Idk if thats hard to implement or not but i think it would be very helpful.

Anybody can register their replicas where their want, but replicas are not coins, are a type of exonumia.

Replica should not be registered in the normal coin page but one a separate page in Exonumia.

I went into the replicas link provided above and looked at the first entry. It had a link to a jeton, but there was no link back. I put in a change request to add the link to the replica. Same for the second, a replica of a coin.

Users would be more likely to enter replicas in the correct place if there were more links to the replicas – and maybe add a mechanism to say “this link is to a replica” to encourage people to check whether they have a replica.

I think this was a conscious decision some years ago to not link in both directions because popular coins often have very many replicas and the pages shouldn't be cluttered with non coins especially if other real coins are mentioned.

Since we already have a type for replicas, I think this suggestion no longer makes sense.
