I was checking for differences in my two 1 kyat notes, when I noticed that the watermarks appeared significantly different. Would anyone consider this a significant enough change to allow for two separate variants?
The first watermark seems to exhibit a slightly pointier jawline than the second. They look like two different people (in my opinion), but they also both look like the same person as on the actual banknote (Gen. Aung San). Perhaps they are Aung San at different ages. The second watermark appears to be the same as defined on Numista.
Any opinions and input would be much appreciated!
