Coin was picked up in India by western army person during WW2. I cannot identify the coin. Please help.

I agree with Sjoelund's requests for additional information in accord with the forum policy, and will also add that this does not appear to be a coin. I'm not seeing a date or denomination.  Hopefully another member will be able to read it for you.
