1763 Netherlands coin... is it real?

Hey everyone 

Got this coin recently on ebay from what looked to be a reputable seller in the UK. Its a 1763 golden. My suspicion was raised when I got the coin. It weighed 10.2 grams (real coin should be 10.6). Also looks like almost no reeded edge and the design looks flat. I am wondering what you all think?

There is variation in weight in the Numista for  1763 Guldens in Numista, down to 10.37 g, so I wouldn't worry about the weight.

Everything else I expect is just a different die from the coin in the Numista listing and lots of wear.

1) The denomination is ''gulden'',not ''golden''!

2) The coin looks genuine,the variation in weight is not big and such differencies exist for this type,as you were already told.

It looks genuine in my eyes.
And if it were fake, then it would be a contemporary counterfeit.

The edge could have been worn off.

Thanks everyone.  Yes I knew it was gulden it just autocorrected to golden because I was posting from the phone. I actually won this for around $30 usd.

A few months ago I won a same gulden coin,also on an eBay auction,at the double price than yours… 😢

Thanks Andi… I'm definitely a bargain hunter with coins lol. I like to put up what I call lotto ticket bids on coins such as this. For every one coin I win I probably lose out on 100 lol. I think I benefitted from favorable exchange rate between usd and gbp because seller was from UK. Anyway definitely glad I found this 18th century silver coin.

Amazing price! Similar pieces would go for quite alot more.
