Can anyone tell me what this is please

This is a favour for the chap in my local post office can anyone help me identify this coin please.

It comes in a box and is quite heavy i would guess about 50-60g

 Looks like more a medal than a coin, especially with that size. 

I guess engineering connected - with a compass over a gear over a ship's wheel. 

All on the falcon bird, surrounded by a chain circle. The numbers ١٩٧٧  are for 1977 date. 

Gives off Egyptian or Syrian vibes with the style of eagle.  No luck on my end digging around though.

Its seems its a Medal from egypt for an opening ceremony for marine Studies at Gulf Academy/School. Dated 1977.
