Good day folks. I found two silver coins near each other but have only been able to identify one of them, looking for help with the other. It appeared to be silver/billon, with a crown and an upright lion. Coins found near Tallinn Estonia. A second coin laying near by was a (1 Pfennig - Andreas Pepler, 1468-1473, Livonian Confederation).

Welcome to Numista!

Lions were on Bohemian coinage (but also many other places).

I think Bohemian coins were known to have circulated in Lithuania in the 15th century … I am not sure about Livonia.

Edit:  Not an exact match, but close:  Heller - Karl IV von Luxemburg - Royal mint of Bohemia – Numista

WHat is the size? (Diameter in mm)

Thank you for the insight!

After a quick search i do see a lot more crown/lion motifs, albeit not exact…I’ll keep looking.

I will post Measurements in about an hour.

Cheers.
