Australian 1 Dollar Banknote [resuelto]

Hey,

This is the first time I have done this so I am hoping I am doing this correctly..

I went to add a Australian 1977 1 Dollar Banknote with signatures knight / stone to my collection but that particular year was not in the list of options for me to add to my collection. I have used the RENNIKS Australian coin and Banknote values 30th Edition book as my reference.

I would like to be able to add that year of Banknote to my collection if anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated 🙂

If so, you followed the instructions on the Add or modify data page correctly. Unfortunately the instructions are wrong. They should have referenced this forum: https://en.numista.com/forum/forum19.html
Other than that you might want to add pictures of your note with those signatures.

Please note that John Stone became Secretary to the Treasurer in 1979.

Yes, Rennicks does say 1977 but this is a typographical error.
I also checked with Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknotes by Greg McDonald (23rd Edition) which has the date as 1979.

Hi,
Unfortunately these guides by Greg McDonald have ceased publication after 2017. The last edition was the 23rd.
Check out eBay for used copies. the price for a brand new copy in 2017 was $39.95.

Rennick's is usually OK but doesn't print a lot of the background information that appears in McDonald's publications.
