Hi All

I found this 5 yen coin in my collection and I am not able to read minting period, as the usual “+” in the dates

Unfortunately I am not able to read Japaese and depend on online translations.

Regards

It's from the Heisei era the rest for easy identification you'll find in the year comments on the coin page.
Or use THIS tool.
It's a 5 Yen 1991 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2676.html). Since 1989 there is new emperor (Heisei in stead of Showa) so the regnal year starts again with 1 (your coin has regnal year 3). That explains the absence of the "+" like it was on the 5 Yen of Showa.
