Hi, has anyone ever seen something like this? The diameter is nearly 18 mm, it seems to be made out of copper. The coat of arms looks similar to the Bolivian issues from the 1860th, just the letters are smaller on my piece. The coins from 1870 already look a bit different and the later issues also have a quite different design.
Does anybody have an idea about what it could be?
I spent some time trying to identify but no luck. Certainly has a 19th century design.
I'm thinking our catalogue may be extremely short on examples of Bolivia. The first bronze/copper example in our catalog is 1951 and I find that difficult to believe.

Thanks for your attempts...
There are copper coins from 1883 but those have a much bigger diameter and the coat of arms is very different. The earliest copper coins from Bolivia are from the 1860th but without coat of arms. And they are all in the numista catalog ( I was Bolivia referee before).
