The map of China on the bill also looks oddly extended. Doesn't it look like China has absorbed Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on this map?

​I would tend to agree with you. Then again all of the borders look a little hokey. The way maps are drawn can lead to some interesting political conflicts.
