2000 Cheerios Uncirculated Penny

Hello I'm pretty new to coin collecting, and I had a question I was hoping to get some help with. I have a 2000 Cheerios Uncirculated Penny still in the package. I've heard about there being an error with this, and I want to check, but I don't want to open the package and ruin it. Is there a way I can check for the error and still manage to have the coin remain a Cheerios Penny?

I know nothing about a Cheerios 2000 1 cent coin with an error. Are you sure you're not confusing with the Cheerios 1 dollar coin?

You're talking about the Far AM versus the Close AM. No, there is noway to check without destroying the packets. Best to leave curiosity alone, not with it.
