Need help identifying date

Help, I have a 10 Cents from Hong Kong which has a partially unreadable date. It could be from 1993 or 1998.

Once this coin is allready damaged to non value, I suggest to clean the date area with some fine steel brush,

 if you are lucky the date will become viseable.

1994 to 1998 would be most likely, as the 1993 one is pretty hard to find.
