Apologies if I am mistaken.

I was looking for a reply to my post made on 30th Oct 2023.

I can't find it.

Has it been deleted.

If so - why?

I am hoping there is a simple explanation.

Xavier and other core Numista team members - please can you let me know.

thanks

was it in the tartaria thread?

I am glad that mess is gone.

Yes it was Mr Midnight.

Unusual stuff being posted. Something didn't add up.

Taken down because??

Forum rules, (https://en.numista.com/help/forum-policy-77.html) especially:

  • Do not discuss your problems with other members via the forum.
  • Messages aiming at stating political or religious views or controversial historic interpretations are not authorized.
  • Sales or inducements to sell are prohibited. Promoting or indicating sales or purchases through forum signatures or member profile descriptions is also not permitted. One link redirecting to the personal profile of a member on an external selling platform is tolerated on the member's profile page through the dedicated field “Personal website”.

This is what I highlighted, I am not a moderator, so one of them acted, most probably on basis given above.

Thanks Jarcek.

Is there a possibility that once the topic is deleted - a generic message is posted saying  that a particular topic was deleted due to XYZ?

It serves 2 purposes -

1) deters others and serves as a reminder to follow forum rules.

2) Transparency enhances values of the core team which is always a good thing

Technically, they are not deleted, just moved to trash forum section, which is not accessible to general public.

I agree that this would be a good thing.

They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...

Sometimes the threads which break the rules also contain valuable information that is of personal or generic interest.

I am sure you get the gist of my suggestion

Mr. Midnight

It seems that I missed some “juicy” stuff about “tartaria”, I didn't read it. Oh well…
