I'm a collector of US coins. I have limited myself to coins from 1900-date. One of the reasons is because it is too pricey to collect coins from the 1800s. Probably the biggest reason is that I like to fill every slot and that gets harder and harder to do as collections branch out.

I've got a very good selection of coins and I'm still uploading more into this website as I go. I'm working on pictures as well.

For about 2 decades I put my collection on a shelf and didn't really do much with it but the last 2 years have seen a new burst of energy for me. But I missed so much! It is easy to buy the mint sets each year (although that is becoming larger and larger) as you go, but trying to play catch up is going to cost me more in the long run. But alas, I'm back at it now. And finding this site actually gives me hope of trades that avoid costs to fill a slot when maybe I have something that would check a box on some one else's collection.

Also, anything that has a shows a grade and not it is not slabbed by NGC or PCGS is just an opinion of someone. Likely the person or dealer I bought it from. I do not really attempt to grade coins. If I enter a grade it is because of how I feel it fits into my collections. I've had a couple people message me and say something like "the penny you have listed as VF is really only a F"...... I have nothing but bad words to reply to that. If you are trading for one of my coins, make your own judgement and call it whatever you want. Otherwise, I simply don't care. On the contrary, I've been swapping with some very knowledgeable numismatists who have helped me learn, coached, shared links for pages, taught, etc. There is a difference. I hate the first and welcome the last.

Silver coins.... I will only trade my silver for other silver coins that are similar in type and date. And even then I probably wont trade it. Some of the silver coins that I have, I don't really collect that type, but I still have them. Silver rises in value faster than coins do, so I probably will hold on tight to my silver. I will be a little more loose with silver dimes, Kennedy halves, Washington quarters and silver versions of common circulation coins of the late 1900s to date.

What I'd like to get most from others is the U.S. coins I don't have. I like to be able to check all the boxes and fill up each slot in my books of coins. I like to get the different types of the same coin.

I pretty much start my collection with a 1909 VDB and on. Nickels start with Jefferson, Dimes with Mercury, Quarters with Washington, Halves with Franklin and dollars with the Ike coin. I love the larger coins, I guess it is the weight of them. I wish they still were in use as a heavy circulation coin.

I want to find trading partners who are interested in simply trading similar coins. Fast and easy swaps, a couple coins at a time. My Washington quarter for your Washington quarter, etc.

Denver mints are common where I live. Perhaps Philly is more common where you live. We could help each other out that way.

I look forward to engaging with new and interesting people.
