Cem Anos do Banco Nacional Ultramarino na Vida Portuguesa (1864-1964)

Commemorative Edition of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of Banco Nacional Ultramarino (National Overseas Bank), dedicated to the exhibition and commentary of the most important documents in the life of this institution, testimonies of its presence and action in the general Portuguese context from 1864 to 1964.
The documents collected and reproduced in the four volumes describe the conception, development, and metamorphosis of the Bank, in the sense of fostering and normalizing relations between Portuguese trading centers and the metropolis, with the BNU serving as an intermediary for operations between the Government and the Overseas Provinces (specifically in Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea, India, Macau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe).
