Anverso
(en) In the center a five-pointed star with a circle. In the circle a standing lion facing left. Behind the lion as a background three horizontal stripes. The upper one is smooth, the middle one with vertical lines and the lower one with horizontal ones. Radial rays come out from the star. Around the central figure at the top the inscription "ЗА ОТЛИЧИЕ В СТРОИТЕЛНИТЕ ВОЙСКИ" -"FOR DISTINCTION IN THE CONSTRUCTION TROOPS". Below in the middle "НРБ" (Народна Република България) - "NRB" (People's Republic of Bulgaria) with one branch on both sides. The inscription and the branches are marginal.

(en) In the middle there is an inscription in three lines "СТРОИТЕЛНИ ВОЙСКИ НА НРБ" - "CONSTRUCTION TROOPS OF THE NRB". Below in the middle there is a shield with a crossed sickle and hammer. On both sides along the entire periphery there is a wreath. Above in the middle a five-pointed star.

It was established on May 28, 1974 by a Decree of the State Council of the People's Republic of Bulgaria. It was awarded to junior officers, over-service sergeants and distinguished servicemen from the Construction Troops for: High results in service training and education of personnel and for contribution to the construction activities of the troops.
